If you are shorter than 4' 8" or so you may consider purchasing a Tenor saw instead. My saws are fabricated from material specifically chosen for their musical characteristics. However, you might want the higher range because of a particular piece you will be performing, Also, if you are in the neighborhood of 4' 8" or less you would want the Tenor saw - This saw doesn't require as long a "reach" as a Baritone. Price: $ 67.24The Bass saw delivers about 2 ½ octaves with a very mellow tone. Most folks prefer the baritone saw, however, if you need the lower notes or wider range for a particular song then you should consider this. Keep in mind, there are a few drawbacks to purchasing my Bass saw - First of all, the price - it is somewhat more expensive than my Baritone
- If you need a case, make sure to order the BASS saw case.
- It requires a large arm span. If you are shorter than 5' 5" you may have a bit of trouble reaching the tip.

Price: $ 71.71The Bass bow has a "French" Frog which keeps the hair closer to the stick. This allows one to bear down quite hard on the saw for extra loud notes. The stick is thicker than the cello bow thus you will have to endure essentially no "flex" while playing. - Please note: The picture shows a German frog - The French frog is very similar to a cello bow only substantially wider.

My economy Tip Handle is well under half the price of the Universal Cheat - but it will only work with a saw equipped with a hole punched in the tip. (ALL OF MY SAWS HAVE THIS HOLE). If you will be using a Tip Handle with one of my saws, get this one. It's less than half the price of the Universal and is in fact more robust! Price: $ 26.00 A black vinyl case imprinted with a cute little logo. Four velcro fasteners and sized for my large (baritone) saw. Obviously, it will also accomodate my small saw (Tenor) with a little extra room. The case comes with a scabbard to protect your bow. 
I'm holding the case open so you can see the reinforcement at the bottom to protect the case from the teeth of your saw. You can also see the pocket for your Rosin and Tip Handle. Not only do you protect your Musical Saw and bow, but everything is stored neatly together. You won't have to worry about showing up for a performance and not being able to find your rosin.

Price: $ 4.00The picture shows my dark rosin (I carry both blond and dark rosins) Honestly, except for color, they are identical and perform equally well. You get what I happen to pull out of the box - unless you tell me to send you a specific one. (and even then, I may be temporarily out of either one.) The rosins are extra sticky - and quite cheap. For playing the saw, a $20 cake of rosin will deliver no better performance than these. Since saw players go through rosin a lot faster than other string players we want a nice cheap rosin.
