  1. Hi,

Does your saws have teeth?, ive seen some without ,which I like.
Also as a newbie what size saw is right one to start with tenor, baritone, bass?
do you sell the mallets or hammers?

    Thanks
    Brother Mike

    1. Yes – All of my saws have teeth. They are purely cosmetic but are necessary. Otherwise you are playing a piece of metal instead of a Saw!

As far as the easiest Musical Saw to learn on – They are all equally easy to learn. One consideration in choosing a particular saw is how far you can reach. If you are shorter than 5’6″ it might be a stretch to play the Bass. And if you are shorter than 4’8″ you might be better off with a Tenor Saw.

I’m afraid I don’t have mallets as personally, I prefer the music when played with a bow. Using a mallet is great when first learning but you should quickly abandon it and play with a bow (In my opinion). When learning, just use a wooden spoon as a mallet!

  2. Hello:

I’m from Uruguay, How much is the shipping to my country?

Also, I’m not sure about which saw to buy. My height is about 6″, what do you recommend buying?

    Sorry for my rustic english
